A natural performer, if Mike wasn’t a musician, he’d find other ways to perform for an audience. His musical influence ranges from The Beach Boys and Sha-Na-Na (thanks to his parents) to progressive rock and early metal such as King Crimson, Blue Oyster Cult and Jimi Hendrix. You can find Mike playing his sax, checking out a local dive bar, running along the Erie Canal, or letting the worries of the moment disappear while he’s on stage.
“Every town has cover bands: weekend warriors playing the same old songs. That can be fun, but I was looking for a group of guys who want to be put on a spectacle that people will remember long after the night is over.”
